Biography:
Stanley J. Wallach joined the firm in 1997. His practice at The
Wallach Law Firm focuses on the representation of property owners
in condemnation actions. He also represents companies and individuals
in property-related litigation and business disputes. In addition
to his trial experience, Mr. Wallach has successfully briefed and/or
argued cases before the Court of Appeals for the Eastern District
of Missouri, the Court of Appeals for the Southern District of Missouri,
the U.S. Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Missouri Supreme
Court.
Mr. Wallach received his undergraduate degree from Duke University,
where he completed two majors Political Science and Russian. After
graduating with honors from Duke in 1987, he worked in Washington,
D.C. as a legislative assistant for a United States Senator on the
issues of foreign policy and defense. He entered The Law School at
The University of Chicago in 1989, receiving his J.D. in 1992. For
his first five years out of law school, he practiced in the Los Angeles
office of Sidley & Austin.
Mr. Wallach belongs to the Missouri Bar
Association, the California Bar Association,
the Bar Association of Municipal St. Louis,
the American Bar Association, and the Association
of Trial Lawyers of America. He is the past
chairman of the Eminent Domain Committee
of the Missouri Bar, and is a member of the
Appellate Practice Committee of BAMSL and
the Litigation Section of the ABA. He has
taught and written on the subjects of condemnation,
real estate litigation, property tax appeals,
and appellate practice.
Mr. Wallach was selected by St. Louis Magazine
as an "Ascending Lawyer" for 2006,
2007 & 2008 Best Lawyers in America and
St. Louis Best Lawyers 2007. He has
an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell.
